has any one tried a jardine exhaust on a gs500f? i know some one here has tried the vance and hines, but i heard that jardine was a better brand, any truth to that? :dunno_white:
Somebody keep track of these posts? We can complie them in a nice listing of aftermarket cans!
Holy shiza...
No kidding!!!!!
but has any one done this succesfully
you could weld it on brah...
so no one has put a jardine on the gs500f
ok listen u can put just about any type of exhaust can you want on the gs as long as you have a flange that will mount to the can....... make sure you rejet the bike OOOOOOOOOOOOOOKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ohh i know that, but their is a full system that is made for earlier gs and i wanted tot know if it fited the f, i think the other one was for an e
i remember that one guy had a jardin, the one you are talking about. i dont know if he visits the board anymore he upgraded to a f4i but i would imagine the performance would be basically the same as the vance and hines.
No it wont fit without some modifications because of the new oil cooler..... if you would have asked your last question first then you would have gotten a faster more accurate answer
Okay look, first off, have you even SEEN a Jardine exhaust? Have you ever found one? Have you even seen one for sale? I have NEVER seen one for sale, and I've seen it ONCE on ONE GS. They haven't been made since the mid to early 90s, and even then it was designed with the OLD GS in mind, meaning I highly doubt it will work with the F due to the oil pan bolts, just like I've said in EVERY OTHER THREAD you've asked about exhausts.
Good luck even FINDING a Jardine, much less getting one to work. Why don't you try finding a Hindle system? They're even MORE rare.
When it comes to exhausts, ANY can will work (with the proper mods). A dude put a can from an STi on his GS. I have the muffler from my '81 BMW 320i sitting in my yard. It fell off when I hit a speed bump. It's yours if you want it. Buyer pays shipping.

I'm telling you though, that Bimmer is farking hot. That can is just sitting there, next to the car, wasting away. It's spring baby, let's mod!
But, at least he didn't ask for PICTURES!!
Great idea, anyone got any pictures of the Sardine Exhaust for me to squiz at?
