Post by: melloGS on April 17, 2006, 10:00:18 AM
I read on here about how there isn't any aftermarket pegs compatible with our bikes...is that true?

There are none that are made specifically for our bikes, but you can fit some off of other bikes onto ours. Search for more info.

I thought Woodcraft made a set specifically for GS's.

look on the main site. www.gstwin.com and click on the 'racers corner' link. there is info about two companies that make after market rear sets for the GS.

also check out pablo's site (http://pantablo500.tripod.com/index.html) for info on adapting pegs to work from another bike.

The stock rubber pillows are starting to drive me insane.
The ridges on the pegs match up with the ridges on my boot kind of and then the peg moves up with my foot sometimes, which is annoying as hell!  I think i'm going to swap some metal ones on soon.

So the ridges of your boots grab the ridges on the pegs and they move in tandem? That would be really annoying. I think the stock pegs are pretty ugly, but they're comfy enough, so I'm just living with them.

www.oem-uk.com (http://www.oem-uk.com)

I don't know what is up with their site right now but they do offer footpegs for the E's which should fit our F's. Try the link tomorrow maybe if it doesn't work today.  :dunno_white:

With my particular alpinestars boots (2006 ridge boots)  - yeah the pegs sometimes lift with my boots, kind of annoying.

Does anyone know if there are any other footpegs that will fit without having to grind them? I'm don't hate the stock ones that much, but if I can get an extra half inch or so of leg room I'd be happy.
