Isn't that more scootard than motard? :)

One of my friends is gonna see if he can get it for me, in which case I'm sure we can work something out ;)
I don't think I'd try that unless I was wearing a steel shoe

I assume because if the scooter goes over too far, he has to keep himself up somehow.
If you get a copy make sure you get original French one, not the half arsed American rip off.
I don't know... The cornering was cool, but sticking your lowside foot down is retarded. What is the logic behind that? Looking cool I guess...

But that seems to be standard practice in motard from what little I've seen. Looks like a good way to break a leg to me.

It's the same philosophy behind motocross riding, which is essentially what supermotard is: dirt riding on the street. You're pushing the bike til the tail slides and you use your foot to stabalize the bike creating a tripod.
EDIT: Here's some REAL Supermoto http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-3085836475561057708&q=supermoto&pl=true
Crazy stuff in there. AMA Round 6 (final) in 2005.
Yeah, even the supermoto logo has a guy with his leg out...hmmm. I don't really know much about it I guess.
Even in that video, some of those corners weren't being slid, yet a guy had his leg out...? I derno.

I think it becomes habit after a while, a just in case type thing.

You gotta damn good at picking your gear... Hard to shift without having your foot on the shifter.
:o
Nice dismount at the end. Kinda hard to do without an assist.
