So I was totally doing this awesome stoppie on my F model... and snapped a weld.
Will JB-Weld fix this?
squidward.... you done did it now.
What weld did you snap? If it's anything you don't want breaking at 70 MPH I'd weld it.
And you're gonna get your ass reamed for using the S word :icon_lol:
But it wasn't my fault! Suzuki shuld beef these things up to take the abuse.... this this barely has 250 miles on it...
it takes a lot of riding up and down the neighborhood to put that many miles on it.
If I didn't know any better I'd say this was a GSTWINNER F**king with us.
----
but if not, what weld did you snap? show a pic.
I'd show you, but my camera phone fell out of the pocket of my shorts at the exact same moment and when the tail came down...
smash-o.
But its right where the triple clamps pass through the frame.
Maybe Duck Tape and JB Weld?
Elmers glue will do just fine
:cookoo: :nono:
psssshhhh....
Elmer's Glue ain't got no Street Cred....
too bad your sandles didnt snag the phone at the last minute.
don't worry about the frame dude, just keep on riding.
then use elmers glue and some glitter if you want that bling bling
Here's your fix. Go to Home Depot and get a tube of all weather window silicone(don't want it to get weaker in the rain, do you)
:laugh:Then apply silicone liberally to both sides of the break, immediatly press both pieces together and secure with high quality duct tape( the Army does'nt call it 100MPH tape for nothing. Ensure you let it cure for at least 6 yrs. Enjoy the ride! :thumb:

It really depends on how awesome the stoppie was. Any good shop should be able to tell you if the stoppie was sufficiently awesome to require a re-weld. In the case of less-awesome stoppies it might be better to source a new frame or just buy a gixxer.

oh, it was the awesome sauced ness of a stopie...
the only thing that woulda made it 100x better was if I wasn't wearing a belt, and my shorts were around my knees.
you did it in shorts ! :cookoo: :cookoo: :cookoo: screw that .. i have rode in shorts before but never tryed to stunt in them .. i love my legs. and prefer to keep them in one pice
Its cool.
Skin Grafts are covered by my HMO
Hey Ive got an idea why dont you just go get a gun and play russian roulette... is that covered by your HMO???
quiet possibly.... I"m sure I'd be covered right up until the Bang part of it. Then again.... if I did it at work, I might be under worker's comp... Like that time I rode the pallet jack into the boxes of marbles....
that was sweet.
The Elmer's Glue and Glitter worked awesome... Pictures to come.
ok go play then
uhm.
wow.
one word(WARRANTY) PUSH BIKE TO SUZUKI DEALER TELL THEM YOU WANT A WHOLE NEW BIKE CAUSE THIS ONES DEFECTIVE,IT WILL NOT PERFORM STOPPEYS.

That doesn't actually disprove it. I have done some multi-voicing on another board once, also arguing with myself. It was fun.
It was only when I started hearing their voices in my head that I started to worry and quit...
(Wonder why nobody has tarded that thread yet...)

Something tells me that this isn't the first time you've experienced a problem with a crack opening up while your shorts were around your knees.
