How would you illuminate the plate?
anyone with access to a welder/and a few simple metal working tools could make this.
give me a lil time after I pick up my bike this weekend and I'll whip a few up.
that would totally create too much drag.
I don't like it. The fact that it holds the plate vertically, and bent like that, would attract the wrong kind of attention from cops. On the other hand, here is a solution I really like:

in some places neither of those are legal. the law may state that the plate must be visable from 3 sides (left, behind, and right sides) and must be illuminated.
yeah, dorking with the license plate is like giving cops a free pass to pull you over whenever they want.
the Pennsylvania code makes it illegal to "modify" a fender. That alone makes about 95% of sportbikes out there in violation :dunno_white:
