I ordered a couple carb rebuild kits from partsnmore.com and got some fork seals to hit the $35 mark. I think Kerry and some others here had ordered some fork seals from partsnmore. I guess my question is if they are as good as oem? Since my right seal is currently leaking, I hate to do all the work to change them (or pay someone else to) and find out the seals suck. Anyone have any experience on that one?
Also, I was going to get some progressive springs and have them installed at the same time. Do I need to change dust seals or anything else, or will oil seals be sufficient?

Come on, somebody out there has to have used the partsnmore fork seals
Changing just the oil seals will be fine (unless of course the dust seals do need changing. How do you tell? :dunno_white: I'd have to see them.). Now, when you change them be sure to use some kind of plastic bag (thin plastic, like a sandwich bag) to put over the end of the fork tube, and lube it up with fork oil; this will prevent the sharp edge (it's sharp to the seal) of the tube from destroying the seal.
Oh, and just to be specific, I've never used anything from partsnmore; sorry, but if they're all the same just do what's above and you should be fine.
