I've come to the conclusion that Nick Villan isn't an actual person, but rather a character created by an ex-member of this forum to torment us in our days and in our dreams. The questions he asks are what lead me to believe this; they all knew how fun it is to answer 10 posts a day about rejetting/exhausts/oil/etc, and so they punish us with a barrage of them.
So who is behind the "person" we loving know as Nick Villan?
you know I was thinking he was someone just being a jack ass... he gets flamed like mad, and then asks another dumb question... who can seriously take that? either hes really slow or he's screwing with us... I haven't been around long enough to have any thoughts of who it could be tho....
I've dubbed him Teflon Nick, because he's impervious to the shots that get fired at him everyday.

Maybe I'm just a trusting soul, but I think it's quite possible he just has trouble with english, which could make it hard to search. I think I'm pretty good at finding things I need using the search, but I've really gotta rack my brain sometimes to come up with the right keywords to find things, even if I know I've seen them before.
There's nothing wrong with someone being eager to learn about his bike and mods for his bike. Yeah, the thousands of exhaust question posts get old, but he's probably just looking for the best mod for his bike for his money. :dunno_white:
Easy there, it's all in fun. He speaks Spanish, so his English is actually not too bad, as it's his second language.
Assuming, of course, that my theory about him being a ploy is incorrect...
I used to get annoyed with nick, but I honestly feel bad for it. Nick, if you're reading...sorry buddy. I now find his attitude pretty awesome.
Now...if nick villan is actually an ex-member or even current member...my hats off to them! "nick villan" is not outwardly annoying, but subtly annoying. That takes skill.
Its actually enjoy the thought of someone like davipu, RoadsterGal or GS Jack visiting the site again, even if it is to slowly drive us mad by posting as nick villan. I miss these people and they added a lot to the community.

I am the same way, I used to get frustrated with his questions and would bash him. Now I just like to lightly rough him up, like a little brother. He became infamous in record time. Props for that; it's taken me over 1000 posts for people to see how annoying I am. Teflon Nick.
I do miss those others also. They were really good resources.

well gsjack is around....but unless he's got several alias' I dont think he's into nick stuff..I think nick is nick, really.

Is GS Jack now "runsilent"? Runsilent seems to have lots of tire information and is a huge help around here, so if he's not GS Jack then he's yet another amazing wealth of information and we are lucky to have him around this site.

donno Turd. I'd have to check if thats possible. I suppose the only way to do it would be to check the ISP of both but since gsjack deleted his account that wont be possible. The tire info clued me in...If its not jack, I hope he doesnt also get pushed away. we need tire database and I miss having gsjack around.
