I was riding down the street today and this hayabusa pulls into the gas station I rode by and he beeped his horn at me and gave me a thumbs up! I just thought that was cool that he noticed me on a gs500f. :icon_lol:
He prolly thought it was a GSXR. :flipoff:
If he was an old-timer with class, he wouldn't care that it's only a 500... Only Squid-Ass-RR-Wannabes talk shaZam! about the bad ass GS. O0
RVertigo is right! :thumb: Any rider worth his weight in salt will see the beauty of a GS500. It is the squidly riders that see it as "only a 500..". Real riders see it as a bike; and bikes are cool in general. It is the rider, not the bike. Same with the guy on his Busa. I bet he didn't start out riding it. Who knows maybe he had a GS500 once :dunno_white:
That's cool. 8)
It is the mark of a true bike enthusiast to be able to appreciate each bike for its unique qualities. The busa is an insane power-plant with nice styling, which is cool in its own way. The GS is low maintenance and flickable: also good qualities.
Anyone who fixates on one particular aspect of the design (usually its power or styling) really misses out on alot of great bikes.
