Dayum Pablo, that's awesome! That looks like a REALLY nice track! I wouldn't mind having a go there. What's it like? It looks short, although that might just be because you were flying through some of those turns. Was that really early or really late in the day? In the beginning you looked like you were taking it a bit easier, then on the next (or next in the sense of coming off the banked oval section) you were going at it a lot more.

Cool video!  :thumb: Keep em comin!

I love videos from the rider's perspective... gives a better idea of speed and more importantly; the Skill involved in doing this.

Thanks!

thanks.
its a couple miles long course. a good time is 1:50 or less...Its a good course but the trackdays there are expensive, almost 2x what they cost elsewhere ($265). I wanted to do it once at least since all my friends rave about it. The banked front straight is good for 155mph+, dipping into the first turn at 110 or so. the infield is somewhat technical and the back straight (with the kink, at the bridge in the video) is also fast-135mph at the end. and the kink gets the front to headshake somewhat. surface is super smooth since its such a new track and if you blow a turn there's LOTS of paved runoff so you can just ride it out.

That was the first few laps of that session so I was taking it easy and getting the tires warmed up. thats why you dont see much traffic on the track, we were the first ones out there. Typically we'd run hard and hit 2 groups of slower traffic each lap, and pass most of them within a few turns by late braking past them. it was my very first time on that track but the video was taken mid day or so and I had already figured out the lines. Its actually a pretty easy track to figure out.

here's the layout, scroll to the second one, called motorcycle competition road course.

didja catch my "you're number 1" salute? hahaha...

Its a 2-pc suit. its the a-stars Bat pant (I sewed in the puck patches that I bought from newenough.com) and the Stunt perf jacket, no longer on their website for some reason. I also have a TZ-1 jacket that zips to the pants. The zipper is full circumference too, not just 8" on the back.

My 1-pc custom suit is on its way. Should have it early June. Looks like this:

damn pablo ...looks like the your injury is not holding you back one bit....you two (the r1) are hauling ash...making fontana look like a short track  :thumb:....always wanted to ride there but worried about getting my noob butt in those fast tracks (fontucky and big willow)...ill stick to BW and SOW for now where the GS (& my sloww behind ) is  more at home... :icon_mrgreen:

yep. I picked the basic pattern from their standard stock. then applied the colors as I wanted to each panel. Also added the Kushitani logo on legs and back. Not shown is my name (PANTABLO actually) which is going above the logo on the back. The colors are from my helmet and also from looking at some older race suits.

Best part is that I won the suit in a trackday raffle. Kushitani custom fitted suit-$3000.

thats what knee pucks are for. I got my knee down lots. In that video I can tell it was the first lap based on the fact I wasnt getting my knee down in many of those corners. in the video check out 1:03, 1:07 and 1:21 as those are all times my knee went down.

That, my friend, is massive fun. Stick with the gs500 for a while and you'll get there too. Thats what I credit my smoothness and speed to.
