what a moron!
Be fair now, they told him to watch for parked cars, not parked trees!

That exhaust sounds almost identical to a stock sv exhaust. I woulden't be supprised if it was.
Feet dragging the whole way. No gear. And he actually accelerates as he gets closer to the tree!! lmao
At least he landed somewhere softer than the road.

I was wondering about that. I mean, I can understand hitting the gas instead of brake in a car because they're both pedals, but on a motorcycle? I guess that's what happens when you have zero experience and panic....
Edit: watching it again, I think it was the curb that caused him to hit the gas. It would have bounced him around quite a bit, and he'd be holding on for dear life.
Man, remind me not to be googling for motorcycle crash videos. The "Giant Motorcycle Crash" posted by Giant Ketchup is gruesome....

In the words of Tommy Boy ....
THAT, WAS AWWWWSOME!!!!
If you're inexperienced holding your wrist too high can do that to you: Bike accelerates; you hold onto the handlebar (instead of holding her with your legs / feet), the pull makes you open the throttle harder.
but, yeah, way to go in shorts and T-shirt.
ah yes, the classic "red SV" movie. That gets posted on SVrider.com about 3 times a month... and it never gets old.. ha
