I've been looking for a while for the red bulbs that you get with the clear tail lights and can't find them at any of my local shops, or with an half hour of googling (I'm impatient). Anyone have a link? Thanks in advance.

i have a clear tail light and its not a bulb its LEDs i dont know maybe yours if diffrent.
Yeah man. Mine are standard 1175 12V dual filiment bulbs that are dipped in some red stuff. I guess that I could do the same if I could make them transparent enough.

Cool, thanks.
or you could just go to autozone or "your local parts store here" and grab some sleeves to go over your stock white bulbs.
banjo-
I've got a clear tail, and I got LED bulbs from www.superbrightleds.com
They've got one, I can't remember the #, but it has led's facing rear-ward & out-ward to give out light both to the rear and out to the sides.
However, in doing this mod, understand that to keep your ride legal (in most, if not all states) you're going to have to get another light (a white one) in order to light up your plates.
I personally, got a separate white LED, attached it to the underside of the clear tail assembly, ran and attached the wiring .... and BOOM. I've got my red LED tail, plus my white light for my plate.
Hope that helped!
I was seriously looking at LEDs, and my red-at-night-plate has been overlooked for two years by PA and NJ's finest, including the bridge cops (who don't have very much to do besides drive beside me over the Betsy Ross bridge to make absolutely sure that I'm doing 45mph the ENTIRE WAY :cookoo:)
The LEDs on the site that scott posted are friggin $34 a piece (quadruple :cookoo:) but the same are $9 on the superbright site.
Hmmmmmmm
Thanks
