Title: GSR600
Post by: Lukewarm Wilson on April 27, 2006, 06:33:20 PM
Finally got to have a look and sit on one (they are still waiting for a demo model so no ride) to everyone in the states don't be concerned that your not getting it, its not worth it seating postion is so upright you almost want to put your legs forward, poor quality finish, if suzuki are not going to put a faring on a bike then at least make the metal look good and not like its just fallen out of the cast, way to expensive for what it is and UGLY!!! in the flesh the pictures looked so good but the bike was so poor.
I sat on an SV650 that was next to it and it was so much better a whole lot better in every respect including price so USA dont despair that your not getting your all the better for it :thumb:

Thanks for posting your thoughts.  It looked awesome in the pictures, it's a shame the real thing didn't measure up.

Hmm.

When it is available for a demo ride, you should take one out and post up then too, just got the sake of it. I'd be interested in hearing about it.  :thumb:

I sat on one at the dealers and I believe that it looks much better than in the pictures and I love the comfortable seating position. As for built quality I think the SV and Bandit look much cheaper. The swing arms look cool and I love the way the engine and fuel tank get wider at the front. It looks "mui macho"
