2 motorcycling oddities happened on my ride home yesterday:
1. A Goldwing rider waved (pretty enthusiastically, i might add) at me.
2. i saw a guy on a Harley with a full-face helmet on.
The first I can believe.
The second is an urban legend.
Yeah, i kinda figured he must've been borrowing it. It sho was funny tho.
i cringe everytime i think of going down in a tank top, jeans, and a nazi brain-bucket. :cookoo:
The sad thing is when it gets hot here (as in the 90 and above) it starts getting tempting to wear no helmet or a beenie cap. I have ridden without a helmet for trips up the street to the corner store, but can't bring myself to ride any distance without one. When it gets into the 100s sometimes you think you're gonna die in your helmet.
Harley Riders wear full face helmets all the time here, but only the ones that have flames and say harley on them. Prolly cause its cold here...really cold. The days have been warm around noon or so but its still below freezing many mornings.
