Title: Front fairing removal on 04 gs500f
Post by: RavenX on May 05, 2006, 10:24:16 AM
I bought the bike used and the right front turn light area was damaged.  It was barely hanging on and this morning it just fell off.  The light works alright and everything, its just the part on the fairing that holds the light in place is broken.  Anyone know a link that shows how to remove the front fairing?  Also where I could purchase a new blue one? thanks.

A how-to on removal: http://gstwins.com/gsboard/index.php?topic=18912.0

It's pretty easy when you look at the bike, just remove all the connectors and bolts holding it to the frame.

Check eBay for replacements.

Alpha's link is good for a description.  www.ronayers.com  provides a nice visual diagram, too.  I use them to buy parts.  They charge exactly 1/2 of what my local dealer charges for genuine suzuki stuff.
