That's great... It wouldn't work in Bellevue WA... People would be mad that you were going as fast as the posted speed limit.
Lucky they didn't get shot or ran off the road. Atlanta driving is the worst in the country.
I have five faces for those guys      That was awesome, and perfectly legal
the old "rolling road-block" trick. its been tried before, on the DC beltway back in the 1980's a group did this. The only result was that the state put a little sign above the 55mph signs reading "STILL!!!"
That was Awesome!!!
There's a group of tree huggers (I think they call themselves the Critical Masses) here in Winnipeg that do that kind of stuff, but they ride pedal bikes and block the whole road.
there was a bit done on the news not long ago about a protest they did and one of the commenters said : 'so you're here to save the environment by blocking traffic and making ppl follow you in their idling cars for a 40 minute drive, that should only take 10 minutes... and HOW does that save the environment?'
It was pretty funny.
That same group gets some pretty nasty feedback on Sunday cruise night...
On sunday night in this city, everyone that has a nice car, truck or bike goes out and cruises Portage Avenue. There's everything from Classic cars, to muscle cars, to low riders to ricers, and all kinds of bikes. Different groups meet at different diners or stores... The sport bikes all meet at the Burger Factory and its a good place to meet ppl, get a group together and go for a ride. People line the side of the street with lawn chairs and watch the nice cars go by. Its a pretty fun thing!
And don't you know, the tree hugger group is there to protest... but what do we care... we're there to cruise anyways!!! :flipoff:
Critical Mass isn't just a Winnipeg thing. It's global.

Oh, what do you know... I had never heard of them until I came here.
that was pretty funny but they left plenty of space for a small car to lane share past them...which would happen in L.A. (but it'd be a hummer)
