My best friend ran out of gas 1 mile away from the gas station. Buy a gas can? Hell no! He bought a 40 of Bud Light, poured it down the sink and filled er' up with gas!

Is that even possible? How? :dunno_white:
I usually just hit reserve :icon_razz:
..but seriously, cool idea. My GF and I run out of gas once, a little less than a while from a gas station. So I pushed it and she steered it. That basically sucked. And then another time we ran out of gas, about a mile from the gas station, we decided to walk to get the gas and filled up a pickle jar and carried it back. Haha. She finally got a different car with a working fuel gauge..
its a good idea, but technically illegal.
haven't you ever read one of those signs at the pumps that say "against federal law to dispense into an unapproved container"?
What is this world coming to when you can't fill up a pickle jar with gas. So sad... :(
The worst part is that in Florida, where I'm originally from, you can't buy 40s... which is retarded... stupid laws..
Please keep in mind that I don't drink when you read this question...
What's a "40"?
Just a big 40oz bottle :thumb:
"I see" said the sober man...
You can buy 40s here in Tallahassee. I just downed me a 40 of Old English 800 for breffas....
No, not really. :)
I've never seen those gloves before...transparent leather? Or, just plastic?
you think florida is ghey? check out PA's liquor laws. beer can be bought in kegs,or as cases of 24 at the beer distributor. all state stores must close by 8pm. monday thru saturday of course. no liquor sales on sunday! six packs or 12 packs can only be bought at the bar. and i guess bars are open on sundays. you cant buy liquor at beer distributors. you have to go to the wine and spirits shops. and vis versa. so basically you cant get beer and liquor in the same store. oh and no alcohol of any sort in supermarkets and convienience stores either.

Or maybe just dry, crusty hands?
Yes, it's illegal. So?
Wow, I never noticed his nitrile gloves in the picture...wonder what he is doing? I'll have to ask what those are. He rides with leather gloves always.

Not totally true. There are liquor stores open on Sunday in PA. It's fairly new thing that started last year. It's experimental so you'll have to check to see if you have one near you. You can also buy six packs or 12 packs at bottle shops.
Other than that, you are right. I recently moved here from NY and it's a huge difference. It sucks not being able to pick up beer at the grocery store or local gas station. I just brew my own and say the hell with it. :thumb:
You guys think that's ghey, here in Colorado. the beer at the supermarkets and Costco is 3.2% alcohol by volume. That's ghey. If you want real beer, you have to get it at a liquor store, which aren't open on Sundays, BTW. And you can't even buy wine in the supermarkets!
I miss California and Trader Joes.

I think they are the gloves you get at the gas station at the diesel pump.
Correction: you can't get 40's in FL. You can only get quarts, because 32 oz. is a safer quantity of beer than 40.... :cookoo:
