hey guys thanks for all the help i finally got my bike up and running found a tank at a junk yard for 50 bucks petty good condition and the bike is up and running i have been riding it around the block for the past couple of days
i have some problems with the bike dieing on me and the back rear wheel alignment
the bike dying i have to bear down on the throttle to get it to start sometimes and sometimes when i come to a stop it dies its idleing about 1500 and the if i feather the throttle it will go to a 1000 one thing i have notice is after i ride it there is fuel coming from the hose that comes from the carb
the back wheel if i align the marks the back wheel rubs against the bar that the brake is on if you guys have any suggestions let me know thanks
Usually drivability problems after a bike sits a while is the result of crap in the carbs. Condensation & varnishing of the internal passages plays havoc with 'em. Especially with your "hard start" condition, I'd remove and clean them before proceeding with further diagnosis.
As for your wheel alignment: Is your brake caliper bar bent, perhaps? A picture (or 3) would be best here.
yeah.... clean the ole carbs out
the first thing i did was clean the carbs out so the carbs are clean and i running berrymans b 12 in the gas at the moment i think i might have got the back tire aligned what are the limits on the back tires
ok guys here are the pics of the bike right/left v markers and the ugly gas tank i got a junk yard
