The ride though Birmingham Al just sucks. It is about a 100m one way trip for me so it is worth the pain of the city interstate.
Once in the foothills the ride just kicks ass. Here is the road you travel.

P.S. Yes that is a Gatoraide bottle straped on the back of my bike. It gets hot on the highway. 8)
