Title: Yet another squid
Post by: Onlypastrana199 on May 17, 2006, 08:26:48 PM
got killed in NY today. Riding down I-87 near Milton, NY. I guess he was 29/30 years old, riding a red cbr. Its been raining here like crazy. He popped a wheelie and lost it when he came down and was hit by two cars.  :nono: wheelies in traffic on wet pavement  Careful in the rain guys.

I have tro admit I have snapped a few in the rain before.  Traction is the tricky part, you're never sure if it will hook up.

Now I just wheelie on dry pavement...of course it never rains here in the desert

apparently he had his wheel turned when he came down, he then hit a guardrail, and got run over by two cars

something like that, and i was wrong it was an r6 or an r1 it was hard for people to tell what it was cause it was so smashed up. My question is...if you're 30 years old aren't you supposed to have a little more common sense than that?  :dunno_white:

Sounds like a real smart one to me. Pulling a wheelie in the rain....yup real smart. :flipoff:

I'm not so sure about this statement...

Three days ago, I wake up at 9am.  I get ready to bring the dog outside for a walk.  As soon as I step outside, an older hispanic male sees me and starts walking towards me speaking spanish.

If you guys odn't know already, I'm asian...  so...  uh... yeah.

I tell him "No habla espanol"

Now really...  I told him that in english of course.  He was looking for directions to a street that was four blocks away.  So I told him I didn't know.

I'm not a morning person.
