Option 2: Proper carb sync

I have just installed a dynejet carb kit and can not get the carbs to run in synk. At proper vacuum the left cylinder will not run. But when I calibrate the cyclinders on temp the bike runs choppy. I changed a couple things in the carbs ( Floats, adjustm, ent needle) the the issue followed. Do the flot levels need to be exact on the carbs to run or tune. Is there another tool that I need to tune properly? Any info would be great.
Weclome!
The floats need to be exactly the same. If these are off the vacuum reading is going to be incorrect, as one carb is going to be either leaner or richer than the other.
Checked the floats and left side is higher by @ 2mm and I need to open the jet about four turns to get it close to the other. Do you know a good vacuum gauge or some sorta set to help on the vacuum as I only have stard needle gauges that are bouncing all over on low speed ( 2500 and below ). I ryteced the cylinders and even when I have the vacuum close and the needles set the left side still runs cool ( 196 under spark plug ) to 259 on the right. I am going to try and set the floats dead on again this week and see what happens. In the mean time I think I need a vacuum set to properlyt read the vacuum on the carbs. Any thoughts would be great as the local dealer want me to bring it in. It might be easier but I want to learn the issue.
