well i am giving up motorcycling soon i guess to begin some intense medical schooling :cookoo: but until then i am riding my bike as much as i can. i have developed a couple of problems though. for one, there is a leak, under the left crankcase, there is always a little puddle of something. new problem, never happened before. its mostly gas, but it has some dark brown stuff in it too (oil?) i have no idea, but there's about an ounce or so on the ground every morning. also, the bike has been difficult to start in the mornings, another new problem, i don't know if its related. i will try charging the battery since i haven't tended it in a while. and the last problem is a strange sound. it comes from the front end. its a hollow sound as if the forks are vibrating the front fender or something. i highsided and hit the left side pretty bad about 2 months ago, in case that matters. thanks for the help guys!

Good luck in your medical pursuit.
Brown gas - trace the wet parts of the bike from the bottom up to find where it's coming from. I'm guessing the airbox drain hose came off the airbox.
Strange noise - something is loose. Check the bolts that hold the front fender, and the speedo cable. Maybe the mudflap that is on the lower half of the fender. And, check the exhaust pipe flanges.
well i checked the airbox hose, and its still on, i was hoping that would be the problem, but no dice. the leak is coming from the bottom-most part of the left side of the crankcase. as for the sound, there is some weak foam that is connected to the front fender where it touces the forks. does this prevent the vibrating sound? and if so should i just stick something in there to keep it from making it? thanks again!
