Title: The Resident Nood Gets A Bike!!!!!
Post by: NiceGuysFinishLast on May 29, 2006, 04:05:58 PM
Well, ok, I don't HAVE it yet.. but I have reached an agreement with the owner. I'm sending a deposit in a few days, and will have the bike paid off in roughly a month and a half, at which time I will drive my dad's truck to Miami and pick it up. Hopefully before then, I'll have taken the local MSF course (300 freakin dollars, through the local Harley dealership.. I need to get in touch with the DMV and find out how much the state course is, and when it runs.. The advantage of the Harley course is that I can schedule it whenever I want). I went out today and sat on an '06F at the store, to make sure I can comfortably hold one up (I can! Yay! And it will be even easier with boots). I also tried on some gear, and sat on the bike. I tried on a Cortech GX Air mesh jacket, in an extra small, and I really liked it. I'd like to go perfed leather, but that wasn't bad for a mesh jacket. I think for now I'm going to use the steel toed work boots I use for my construction job, and I'll be buying some nice leather gloves and a scorpion EXO-400 helmet.

I know you all want pics. Ok. It's This (http://gstwins.com/gsboard/index.php?topic=26876.0) bike. You've probably all seen it before. I'm freakin stoked. You have no idea. WOOHOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*EDIT* This is my 1100th post too... Neat

While I was out today, I tried on a Cortech jacket in an XS, and I REALLY liked it. I'm thinking of ordering it tomorrow. It's the GX-Air, found here (http://gstwins.com/gsboard/index.php?topic=26876.new#new). I'm thinking of getting it in black, with the white piping. What do you guys think?

...first thing you need to do is send me the exhaust so I can build you a new one.  I've been waiting for someone to do this for like ever.

Hey Mak, PM me specifics (i.e., what you want to do with the exhaust, mockups if possible, MS paint drawings, whatever, and the best way to ship an exhaust, and I just may do it...)
