Congrats, that's quite a milestone. And a pretty good total for 1 year.
Now you need to break that record next year.
In Wisconsin? Man, I was gonna blame the weather in NY for why I only get about 3-4K per year, but that's hard core. (Well, I also blame working too much.)
at first i thought you were talking about RPM :cookoo:
you also have a pony on your ignition key? :o
WooooHoooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congrats, MM!!!!
Very nice work! My goal was to hit 5K by today, 1 year after I got my GS. I would have had it if not for this shitty weather. I'm stuck at 4,940 as of yesterday. D'oh!
But that's nothing compared to your 10K. Nice!
I hit 30K last Friday - which doesn't include the 6,420 miles that were on the original gauge when I hit the cow.... :icon_rolleyes:

Gee - I'm only averaging 6,000 miles a year. And the last couple years have only been about HALF that.

WooooooHoooo!!!!! Congrats!!! But you need to ride more! GS 50-states group ride!? Who's in!? :icon_mrgreen:
+1 on resurrecting the cow thread!
I've only got 20K on my '00 that I bought new in '01. I didn't ride it AT ALL for the first 2.5 yrs though, then I wised up and saved myself money by parking the truck.
So really, it's the last 3 yrs only that I've been riding, and then it's ~6.3K/year, which isn't too bad.
I've had my bike 10 months. It was down and out for 2 months due to repairs and vacations (1st when the bike got knocked over it was in the shop for a month while I dealt with the guy's insurance; 1nd was in December after the lowside, I put off fixing it for 2 weeks, then went on vacation for 2 weeks). So riding for 8 months, I've put 8000 miles on it. So 12,000 miles/year average thus far.
