so what screw came off the top of your carbs.. when you took it apart.. the cap screws.

The screw on the LEFT came off the bike, its the original screw.
The screw on teh right is the repalcement screw for teh stripped one. However its NOT the same. It doesnt have teh washer attached (which is fine) but the big problem is that its shaft is wider (threads fine).

The dealer said the bike has regular screws in that area.. is that true? what did your bike have.. call me 818-512-4047 if you got the answer.. i am working on the bike.

#15 there.. according to bikebandit.. its a threaded screw all the way..

damn the dealer was right.

this is the reason i dont want to do my jets on my carbs. i can do every thing else but i am a EFI person
