what the hell. this has plauged me for months now. how do i get rid of it. some sites its very bothersome but some sites it doesnt show up at all

Internet Explorer? Try upgrading your browser. Either get Firefox or upgrade IE (Tools>Windows Update). Try one and/or both and see if that fixes it. :thumb:

I would strongly, strongly suggest you ditch IE for FireFox. But failing that, you've somehow managed to turn the script debugger on. It thinks you're a web developer, and would like to fix error in the page. Normally runtime errors in webscripts (which are common) are ignored. A quick google search (http://www.google.com/search?q=internet%20explorer%20debugger) turns up this fix (http://www.mvps.org/marksxp/WindowsXP/debug.php).

Have you FULLY updated your pc? With Xp, if you do a full update you shouldn t have any problems whatsoever.

Uninstall the friggen debugger from your machine... VS 6 or something, right?
