Title: footpeg vibrations
Post by: l3uddha on June 01, 2006, 06:30:18 PM
do the rest of you GS riders feel a lot of vibrations throught your stock footpegs? Mine seem to be vibrating a little bit more than usual lately... any ideas on what would cause this? yes, my bike went down recently on the left rearset, but the right one seems to vibrate just as much.  :dunno_white:

I also noticed some over-all vibration increase, especialy at footpegs. I never felt little numbness at my feet before riding just for 10 minutes and i am more and more certain that this is not just in my head :)  Perhaps it is caused carbs going out of sync or valves ? I hope nothing serious.

Maybe it was discussed before? I dont think we are the first ones to have this little problem.

Whole bike vibrates.  I feel it most in my right hand, plus there's a vibe through the tank/seat @ 5500 or so.  Never noticed it especially on the pegs.

Much as I like my GS (rode it to work today for the first time) I know already that my next bike will not be a V-twin.

I was wearing sneakers on the back of AJ's gs last weekend...and I definitely felt the vibrations...never did before...prolly cause of my lack of gear
