I took the bike out for the first time today since its repair. Everything was great, but I did notice that only my throttle side mirror vibrates and I really can't see out of it. The clutch mirror is perfect. Why would only one mirror vibrate?
Is the mirror and everything it fastens too tightened up properly or have you lost a bar-end weight?
Everything is fastened but where is a bar end weight. I don't know If Im missing one or not:dunno_white:
:dunno_white:
Okay did a search on bar end weights and the one mirror that is vibrating is the one side that has a bar end weight. I'll put my hand on each mirror while cruising but I can't really feel a stronger vibration coming from the mirror that is vibrating like hell. help please
Was the mirror damaged or is it a new mirror???
If the one mirror that is vibrating is the one side that has a bar end weight, you might try taking it off.. Does the whole mirror assembly shake, or just the glass? Maybe it's loose inside?
Damn....
Some fellow riders and I had this discussion about a decade ago....What was the explanation.....
This is going to drive me nuts all day now....
What work was done on your bike?
Do you have clip ons or the one piece tubular bars?
I got some cheap replacement mirrors, and they vibrate horribly. Thought it was normal...
