Title: Mikuni Jet Part No.
Post by: Size_Twelve on June 04, 2006, 12:51:08 PM
Hey all, I've got an '05 GS that comes with the stock 17.5 pilot jets. I'm looking to bump it up to a 20, as I just ordered a new K&N filter today, but don't know which type of jet to order.

I went to the Sudco website (http://www.sudco.com/mikunijets.html) , but there are a bunch of different kinds of jets on the page. I found an old thread on the boards that said to look at part #N151.067 ( you can see it on the webpage), but that seems to be for the older 2000 models before the addition of the mid-main. The size starts at 30, so that can't be the right one for my 2005.

Anyway, I see there is a VM22/210 that looks similar to what I need, but that is a bleeder type jet. Is that ok? I guess what I'm asking is that if anyone has rejetted the '01+ models, do you remember which jet you used? Any help would be appreciated.

The pilot is a N224.103 type . The mains (both main and mid, just size varies) are N102.221

So with a k&n drop in filter and a full exhaust should one bump up the mid main as well as the pilot and main??? I have tried every combination on my dynojet kit and I get a hiccup at 6-7k rpm if i roll of the throttle and back on. Could this be caused by the mid main being too lean? The dynojet kit is a stage 1, but tech support says it will work, but I am living proof it does not  :cookoo:
