Post by: yamahonkawazuki on June 05, 2006, 09:24:19 AM
ive been out for a few days. lol riding on saturday in the "tour-de-cure" i think i was the most outta shape sob there fyi the ride is a cycling event to raise funds for diabetes research. we raised  preliminary figure close to 200k using 300 or so riders.  :icon_mrgreen: anyhoo i rode saturday and volunteered my help. "loading/unloading trucks, assembling finish line etc" ive got 2 pics now 1 more when i get it. first is of a guy whos team goes in theme mode every year. this year was as vikings. last year was as santa and his elves. year before was as cowboys and indians, and the one before that was as a wedding party  :thumb:

Chevro-legs?

I will never understand how you people manage to ride those damn 700C x 18 freakin tires... damn skinny if you ask me.

I was way more mountain bike.  I used to do 75 mile rides with my boss on my Specialized StumpJumper FSR with 26 x 1.5 and keep up.  So funny.... it'd really piss him off.
