Title: Mesh net for a '05 GS500F???

Yeh, I need a net on the rear seat...

Like a bungy net, to keep some random stuff on there...


Anyone know where to get one? and how it will fit on an '05 GS500F??

They call 'em cargo nets.

Once or twice a year one of the brit bike mags gives them away with the mag which is how I got mine and a good bit of kit it is too. Failing a freebie dealerships or on-line accessory outlets will have them. They are fairly cheap.

They are elesticated usually with six hooks and a piece of cake to use.

yeah you can get them anywhere, i got one from the motorcycle superstore (i think) when i placed an order for something else but after 2 years it crapped out... the bungee cords are just not large enough to hold up very long.  (they streched out and lost their spring)  I need a heavy-duty one.  I'd like to know if anybody has ever seen one thats stronger than the norm...

Welcome!

There are posts welded underneath each frame rail, below the tail plastics, on either side, below the passenger seat.

What I do with mine is, two hooks for the front two posts, the middle hooks for the aft posts, and the last hooks for the turnsignal posts, or grabrail, depending on the size of the load.
