Finally got around to mocking some things up on the latest project. It's a '80 Yamaha XS11 Standard frame with Hayabusa front end, swingarm, and wheels. Had a stem made for the front end, the swingarm is still mocked in.
I need to visually stretch the body to compensate for the 6" the busa swinger adds...I'm thinking about a Buell or Speed Triple fender and tail light...something sleek, but long to balance it. Maybe a hugger too. The busa front fender looks kinda chunky on there too, but I'm planning on using a large headlight fairing (think classic Ducati...or the new Ducati Sport Classics), so I'm hoping maybe that will blend the fender and balance the front a bit.
I haven't even started mocking up motor mounts, but I have a Yamaha FZ-1 motor still in the crate from Yamaha waiting to power this beast. Should be fun!!
