There is more spray... I haven't noticed if it hits windshields, but my top case gets grime on the bottom of it.

I haven't really noticed much...none of my bies have fenders.

I hacked mine off a long time ago, and I've never had a line of roost up my back. Riding in snow, rain, everything. No problem.
