Title: New Twist on the Biker Wave.
Post by: jake42 on June 06, 2006, 06:54:27 PM
So I was leaving work today and sitting in a line of cars heading down the hill from my builidng so both my clutch hand and my brake hand were occupied.  Two guys come around the corner on gixxers. Both in shorts, the first with no helmet (thanks PA). So I give the customary nod since my hands were busy and he nods back. I do the same to the second kid and he just smirks at me and lifts the front wheel up to about 9 oclock going up a hill thats about 35 degrees in incline.

That's a new one to me.

that's just being a squid.  My favorite modification to the biker wave is the "right-hander".  I was driving in my car and I was passing a dude on a goldwing and I waved and gave him a thumbsup because he was fully geared...he returned it with his right hand and nearly died.

Hey so long as it's not next to me I don't care. If it is next to me and they wipe out they better hope they don't touch my Jenna (GS)

dude that's on a slope...which means it's on a mountain.  Anything over 500ft in California doesn't count.  It's like getting a running start frmo orbit in a long jump competition with zero g boots and an afro.

Squid used to be the term for a gearless rider...because of what they tend to look like when they test their flesh.

Now "squid" just means "idiot".
