So i rode with a CBR929. we went on the highway and on some country roads. needsless to say its is beyond fast. There were a few times were i was wound out in 3rd or 4th, while he was only partial throttle in 2nd or 3rd. We were going to swap bikes too, but it started to rain. Maybe later this week we will trade for a bit and compare the comforbility. he said its really fun and fast, but totally uncomfortable. Hes actually trading it for a 750 shadow.
One time i was just cruising down the road when a cbr 1000 came along side of me and we came to a stop light and he pulled aside me and when the light turned green he was gone......lol. would have been nice to ride with him for awhile make me seem semi-cool lol hahahahha
I suggest you take a ride on either one if you get a chance. The CBR1000RR will do about 100MPH in first. The adrenaline rush is awesome.
It's a co-workers bike. Until he trades it next week sometime for the shadow. Hopefully there will be some riding time this week for us to do a swap.
I like picking on cruisers on the twisties.
Light weight + superior lean angle + maniac at the bars = V-max in dust.
I ride with nothing but bigger bikes...I've outran some of the guys on the liter bikes thru twisties, they even said they couldn't catch me...rider vs. rider is what it's all about, except for straight aways, thats the only effin downer...
