Hey..
I know I should re-jet but what will happen if I run my new Vance and Hines fulll system with the K&N and dont rejet? Burn the valves? Will I notice if its hurting anything? I would like to avoid a rejet cause I had enough trouble getting it to run right with the stock carb set up :thumb:

Hey..
...but you're asking anyway? Why? What do you expect us to say, that it applies to everyone except you?

Uhh.. yea.. I am the coolest guy on the block.. Most things dont apply to me :flipoff:
Haha.. No really .. thanks for the input.. I will rejet I just was woundering what the problems "could be"
It's going to run like shaZam!. Hesitation, very long warm up times, really poor throttle response, possible valve damage, it's going to run a whole bunch hotter, it's going to spit and pop all the time, it isn't going to be fun to ride. What did I miss?
So how will I know if the mix is alright once the jetting and pipe are done? what should I listen/ look for?
Smooth throttle response, fast warm up, no hesitation off the bottom, being able to turn off the choke and ride away within about 15 seconds of firing it up cold, tan spark plugs, not white, good gas mileage, with the right jetting, you are the world.
