ROYALLY
I don't think I could ever forgive myself if Kalee got hurt riding...
He was over the centerline in the first picture. I like the look of the front wheel in the third picture. It makes me want to see the look on his face and be able to hear the thoughts going through their heads though.
Idiots.
wow. that kinda makes me feel really uncomfortable...where those pics from? idiots...not in a joking way
You can learn from others wisdom or your own stupidity... like these two. :cookoo:

I agree... hitting the pavement at 60+MPH feels MUCH better when you aren't wearing gear!
  :cookoo:
I just don't understand it, why ppl risk it... $5000-?????? on a sweet ass crotch rocket, but none left over for a decent jacket, gloves and at least thick jeans :dunno_white:

If I remember correctly that last picture is a photo shop. Oh and if you look the rear tire is off the ground handle bar position is wrong for how the front tire is turned. Thats what I remember reading, was more but have fogtten.

I saw the shot blown up on another site and the bike is on its side and often times in that case were the front tucks the back wheel will come off the ground. You can also see that the passengers flip-flop and toes are already on the pavement. :o I vote real.
If it's real I feel real bad for the couple on the bike. If it's a photo shop then there are some sick bast*rds out there. Just posting what was said on other board. BTW are there any after math photos? Would like to see if there are.

Idiots.
Classic front end tuck ... once you've leaned over that much ... your handle bars should be straight ... or pointed to the outside ... if your name is hayden or rossi ... O0
Cool.
Srinath.
I want to see aftermath pics. those should be cool.

Yeah... It taught them that she's not going to be wearing shorts or skirts for a looooooong time.
Retards.

Ask. . . and you shall revceive. Or as Oprah says, you don't G-E-T unless you A-S-K!

Jake D is that not the photo for the girl that fell off the bike when the guy poped the wheelie?
Beats me, haus. I saw that two up crash in another thread and this chicky momma was posted as the eventual out come of the 2 up. But I can't verify that.
umm... does anyone find the thread title a bit funny?
uhm, I can get the response... no aftermath photos were posted.
It was taking near "The Rock Store" on Mullholland in LA.
Lemme dig up the response.
From the pic taker:
Hey John,
Thank you for your concern.
Although the riders did go down, they both walked away in pretty good
shape...considering the lack of gear and all.
Her knee looked to be the worst of it all. Thankfully it seems her backpack
took the brunt of the fall.
Thanks for the link also, we will posting something soon.
Please pass the word that the riders will be just fine, nothing was
broken but a
little ego and some plastic.
Thanks again for your concern.

i CAN understand everyone thinking they're stupid for not wearing gear.
i CAN'T understand is how so many people could find things like this amusing and even laugh at their misfortune. Do you feel that a "you get what you deserve" mentality is always the best approach? i guess the anonymity of the internet is a huge factor. i'm sure we would all be pretty devastated if these were friends of ours, regardless of how stupide they were being.
i'm willing to bet that nearly everyone on this site has done something stupid/squidly on their bike at least once. Maybe not so stupid as not wearing gear, or letting your girl ride in flip-flops...but something where even proper gear wouldn't have saved us. Whenever i see somebody riding without gear, i'm always saying things like "put a jacket on, idiot!" But seeing stuff like this is just sad.
i'm not trying to come off preachy...i just feel bad for those kids. Especially that girl. :(
i am glad to hear it wasn't worse. Thanks for posting that Tragic.
I have absolutely no problem telling people they are absolute morons for not wearing gear.
I mean, its a basic principle of Motorcycles... Gear Is Mandatory.
Did I laugh at them? no.
Do I feel sorry for them? Slightly.
Should the rider known better? without a doubt.
Hey, a little road rash here and there ain't going to kill you.
Sure it hurts and oozes yellow goo for a week and then scabs over and leaves a nice pink scar, but, dammit! Common now! I feel sorry for anybody that goes down. It sucks. But as my old football coach in high school used to day, "Mess around, mess around, pretty soon you won't be around." Of course he also used to say, "I tried to kiss her lips, but she turned her butt to me."
And on the bright side, she'll never get on the back of a motorcycle dressed like that ever again.
my favorite was...
"Gonna be dumb, better be tough".
am i still the only one who finds this thread's title hilarious?!

Hahaha.. I sometimes pronounce it the way the title is spelled.. just to be a smartass... but yes, it's cracking me up too...
And for the record... I think riding without gear is dumb. I think they fully deserved what they got. I don't think it's funny. I think it's a damn good lesson though. Also.. "gonna be dumb, better be tough" is a great, great expression.. I've loved it my whole life..
:flipoff: blow me :flipoff:
I just got these photos emailed to me from a non-rider friend. mulholland highway-the hairpin just before the lookout. idiots. no broken bones but plenty of road rash.
