Title: Installed V&H system... better warm up time
Post by: KYGS500E on June 08, 2006, 10:47:35 AM
I had previously modded with a supersport slip on, k&N pod, and 127.5's with 40 pilots.  Bike rode great... all was well.. then I had my header from a supersport system welded on in place of the stock one... now my warm up time is almost gone completely... i can just start and go after almost no warm up!  Anyone else had this??? I'm pumped... but why?

I got the V&H with a UNI filter in the stock box, and factory jets (for now) with 3 #2 washers on the mains. I start it up open choke, it takes about 30 sec for the rpms to climb to about 3.5 to 4k, then I can close the choke and go. So I wonder if when I rejet it'll be even faster?
