Title: Good news in the mail for my Suzuki Twin (Pics)
Post by: Adam R on June 08, 2006, 06:36:59 PM
... yep, I got a clean state DMV title today for my 1994 RGV 250 SP.  Not an easy process by any means, but with patience, dedication and a little luck it can be done.

Now I just need to fit the lights and bodywork and replace the commuter bike style tires.

That's what the dealer told me.  Then they wanted $45 to flush and refill it.

But you can do it at home for $25 and it only takes an hour.

would have thought two stroke oil would go in there you will want to check before you put brake fluid in it or its going to be a very short ride.
I keep forgetting that the US dosen't get the little strokers, RGV's are a dime a dozen down here well at least $2000-$4000 but we stopped getting RGV's after the M model and only got Aprilla RS125 and 250 after that the Aprilla actually ran with a beefed up RGV motor from Suzuki and handled better but be careful on it they are more race rep then R1's or GSXR you will find out what quick steering and dropping into corners really means :thumb:

Speaking of brake fluid; you might want to take abit to that yellowed headlight.   O0

That sure is mighty purty!  Personally don't like the green on the wheels tho.

I agree with you about the green.  I'm not sure why the previous owner did that.
