Maybe one day 20-50 yrs from now we would be able to ride along the Euphraties and Tigris rivers with these guys.

we were instructed not to comment about the arab/muslim men, holding hands  and showing affection.

when we hired Iraqi national's to work inside the base (only men could work) they would hold hands and whisper in each others ears.

I quess we american are just homophobes.

Me, I just don't like the Idea of a guys johnson on my back.  I am secure in my homophobia.  :icon_lol:

Definitely cultural differences. My boss is a Frenchman, and he'll hug anything that moves. You can just see the "hunted animal" look that some of our male customers get in their eyes when they see my boss coming with his arms outstretched.  :laugh:
