Hey all. Well, I'm home from the Gap. I met up on Saturday with Alphafire, thatguy, rangerbrown, and ashman. We all rode the Cherohala Skyway, and thatguy and I rode the tail. The run sucked 'cause we got stuck behind a pickup truck and four or five honda s2000s. We only got to wind it up for a short time and I was creapin' when we came up to killboy. That shot's gonna suck. Ah well. We did run into one of the other killboy photogs on the Cherohala, and we talked him into taking some pics (stationary unfortunately). They should be up soon. Ranger tried to get some video of us riding. I won't even talk about his camera mount :laugh:. We'll we how it turned out soon hopefully.

I got in last night around 11pm it was a long ride from NC to AL. It was a great time and the weather was awsome! I'll post some of my pics later.

Got home around noon today. Drove 800 miles on Sunday and stopped at the Texas/Louisiana border for a few hours. Started driving at 6am today and am exhausted as can be. Pics later.
I'm still in north carolina right now ill be leaving for alabama w/n the hour Hopeully ill beat that hurricane looking thing heading towards alabama.
But on a positive note It looks like I-85 my main way home is socked with rain.
P.S. Someone tell ranger brown to get that video posted. :flipoff:

The whole time I was there I didn't see that many SVs actually. I saw a few groups of them on Thursday evening and one small group of SV1000s on Friday morning, but aside from that I never saw any large groups.

Naaah, that's scuffing. It's highly unlikely you'll get those little balls of rubber on these types of tires though. They're just too hard for that sort of stuff.

For a while I haven't been able to see some photos. I see the photo of the black GS500F with "PROOF" across it, but ashman's photos are just dots. Any suggestions on what the problem is? Right now I'm on a Dell using Windows XP and Firefox.

no one i knew. why? the honking i do when ever some one lets me pass or in this case was leading the 18'er through for us. is a sign of thank's

i dont know what happend, it make me so f-ing sick when i saw that. you have no idea. next time if there ever is i will have a real mount.
Make sure it's a tank mount. Better visibility no matter what. From watching the video, you should look up more. :icon_razz:
well thats the thing, i was. the cam was monted too far forward on the helment and thus looks as if i was looking down.
i dont knwo whats worse.
the footage, or
the fact that i had the cam on my helment all day long for no reason.
Well at least your sunglasses look better than the cam on your helmet :)

if i recall corecly, this was not his fist bike are any thing, but said he should have never pushed it that hard there. considering that he does trackdays. it was fully covered. but still sucks

I agree, I'm sure it's not his first bike because of the setup - very rare for a beginner to know what to install. Hope he was ok too, but it happens.
