Yep.

Item #7 is the "dust seal", which usually doesn't need to be replaced every time a new oil seal is put in.  But if it looks at all "rough", replacing the dust seal might help your new oil seal last longer.

EDIT: Changed "fork seal" to "oil seal".  Duh....

Is the dust seal the black part that shows at the bottom of the fork tube? Mine are starting to look a little cracked... I thought those were the fork seals, so I got new ones... My fork tubes aren't in the best shape, either, but those suckers are expensive... I'll be seeing what I can do with a buffing type dremel bit when I install my progressives...

right, dust seal is #7 and is what you see sitting on the topf of the slider, which is #1. It isn't an oil seal. Oils seal is #5.

So I should prolly get some new dust seals... Ah, well... First I've got to take care of the sporckets and cain (which'll have to wait until the retarded stealership decides to stay open as long as they claim to so I can get them to loosen the axle nut they overtightened ), then I'm going to install the new brake lines I got, then I can get to the new fork springs and seals... I love this bike.
