I want that Daytona!
Andrew
nice car, do you NASIOC?
1) Why aren't you sitting on them? How do you know you were REALLY there? :icon_mrgreen:
2) That car doesn't look like an exotic bike to me. :)
QuoteI want that Daytona!
Not if I get it first! (Where's the drool smiley when you need it?)
I do Nasioc. I couldn't take the pics if I were on the bikes :icon_mrgreen:. My car was much faster than my GS. :icon_twisted:
Ducati Austin, the shop that maintains and sponsers Ben Bostrom and Neil Hodgson, is right up the street from me. A little ways away from there is Lone Star BMW and Triumph. Unfortunately, all their Daytona 675s were sold the day the bike was introduced.
That is the best middleweight I've ever seen. It looks so sexy in person, especially in graphite.
If I may ask why did you get rid of the STI? I am looking at buying one.

  that is the greatest description for that car ever.

I can't take credit... I stole that from a band called HB Surround Sound.
Giant shopping cart as it may be it was a giant shopping cart that could do 0-60 in 3.6 and a 1/4 mile in 11.8 seconds. Not to mention hold over 1g in corners. I got rid of it because I am getting married. :cookoo: If you are looking to get an STi I definately suggest it. It was a great car for hitting the twisties and SCCA racing.
Andrew
You'd have to be a total dork to call an STi a shopping cart.
Is that what you are? A total dork?
I need you to do two things for me, Rvertigo:
First, I want you to look around you. See everything. Take it in. Try to understand all of your surroundings. Can you do that for me, Rvertigo?
Good.
Now the second thing I want you to do for me is to decide if you could survive if you were blind.
:flipoff:
My little 675 qualifies as an exotic?! Sweet! I much prefer the scorched yellow myself. I've decided I never want to own a bike that matches the asphalt. The 675 is an incredible bike, BTW. i have 1200+ miles on mine in 2 months and have loved every second of it. I highly recommend the experience....

And you have to be a total dork to think that shopping cart handle looks like anything other than a shopping cart handle. :flipoff:

BURN!
Huh! Thats funny you had a STi, I just got rid of my 04 WRX, it goes this Saturday, got my GS500F yesterday!
Man I never knew so many people hate STi's. I really wish I never got rid of that thing. :2guns: haters.
What year WRX did you have?
I have always loved the Scoobys, but have not had the chance to buy one. I think that I am going to try and get ahold of the 2007 STI Limited.
Wait for the '08 with an all new chassis. I will more than likely be buying one.
Have you found any info on the 08 yet? I have yet to come across any. Have you seen the 07 Limited... SWEET
Yep I saw it, very nice. I haven't heard anything on the '08 yet except that it is all new. I tuned the STi suspension and chassis to the max and it was awesome, but I would really like to see a multi-linik rear suspension for a little more finesse. Not saying that mine was any slouch, but It could be a little more precise.
Yeah I know, that is why I have been bouncing between that and the EVO IV MR
