This Saturday I got on my bike and rode 75 miles each way to Heartland Park Topeka for the motorcycle race. I really enjoyed seeing what "mere mortals" can do on a road course. There was pretty much constant 7 lap races from noon to 5 when I left. Probably 8 different classes, including big twins.
If you ever meet a guy named Ron Woods on a R1, give him some respect. He is scary fast and won each of the heats in his class by at least 10 seconds.
I went alone and just listened to my i-pod most of the day. I took like 20 pictures.
I am having trouble downloading. I'm working on pics.

The Name Ron Woods sounds realy familiar do you know where he is from?
Wiconson. The called him the "Ringer" during the races Satruday.
Finally! I got some more of my photos from that day downloaded. Turns out I had too many stored on my hard drive.
Here are my first attempts at race photography.

Geez. I basically posted the same two pictures twice.
I give up.
You give up easily... Aren't you a lawyer or something? ???
