Title: Man, the gs is one quiet machine.
Post by: TadMC on June 20, 2006, 06:13:35 PM
I took my sister out today to a huge parking lot, and I was teaching her how to ride again. Well anyway it wasnt more than 50 feet away that I couldnt even here the bike... At alll.  damn its quiet.

Also I finally figured out why my bike had that buzzing at 3100rpm.  A bolt came loose on my fender and it was rattling around./.... I fixed it

Damn you Alpha... I was trying to snatch up a cheap exhaust so I could be the first.. now you got it... Mak.. good luck with this, wish it had been my exhaust you were jigging.. but I'll be happy if you get em goin, I'm already budgeting for your exhaust.. I know you posted costs in your other thread... how much does it cost to SHIP something like that?

My prices are always "shipped".  Target is $375 for the dual high mount, shipped to the continental US.

After 5.5k engine case "sewing machine" sound become more loud than an aftermarket pipe. It sounds cheap if you ride without the helmet :) but helmet filters out high pitch sounds and only delivers bassy exhaust :)
