i was wondering...i really dont want to buy yet another backpack whether it has magnets on it or not, i have enough.
my question is...can i take my regular backpack and stick a magnet in it...this kind of magnet perhaps(holds up to 150lbs): (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v604/afplayboy18/magnet.jpg)
could i put that in my backpack and have it hold down on my tank...would it hurt the tank, cause any problems???
i think someone from this forum used magnets from dead hard drives to make his own DIY tankbag
I wouldn't see why not? But how many are you using? One on each side i hope, just to keep it stable.
Here's the link to the $1.00 tank bag

Should work with any backpack you have. Only thing I would worry about is that the backpack would not have the non-slip padding / cushion on the back of the bag, which could casuse some scratches on your tank.
You can just use the fabric from an old pair of "Bad Idea Jeans" to fashion a crude tank bag. Sixty percent of the time, it works all the time. :thumb:

HAHAHAHAHA. "That doesn't even make sense"
i was thinkin put one in the middle but i guess i can look into 2 of them...
Best would be to put 1 mag in each corner.
