I am questioning the timing on my .417 cams. The valves hit and I am running out of ideas why. I have not run them since one spit a shim and broke it. I am wondering if that caused the sprocket to move. Eventhough that should have rotated it backwards. I cannot find any pics of the 555 motor I built.
I hope this makes sense:
The EX sprocket is rotated forward about 75% past the retaining pin hole.
The IN sprocket is rotated forward about 25% past the retaining pin hole.
Can anyone confirm this is right? Or what it should be?
And yes there are 18 links between 2 and 3.
