Was there a picture of the lenses in the catalog?  If so, you could try ripping out the page, circling the item, and including the page (and a letter?) with your return.  Doesn't sound good though....

What was the Chaparral part number?

EDIT:  It's not unusual for mail-ordered tires to arrive with just a label.  I have received some with a few layers of shrink wrap, but I don't think I've ever had one delivered in a box or anything.

I think at this point I would simply document everything and dispute the charge with my credit card company.  :2guns:

I ordered my Nelson-Rigg bags and front sproket from them and saved $25 shipping included over the next cheapest place. They emailed me a UPS tracking number and I had my order in 4 days. I ordered mine online without problem so I'm sorry to hear they screwed you. Now exotic sportbikes on the other hand........ I ordered a windscreen that said "in stock" they called me 6 hours later siad we don't cary it. I then ordered the zero gravity screen, they billed my card the same day and it never shiped for like 11 days and I didn't get it for over 2 weeks from the day it was ordered and it was supposedly "in stock" also.  :dunno_white:  I  ill not give them any more business.

I live about 10 minutes from Chapparal, and I had a neighbor who was "sponsored" by them.  They have a huge retail store to match their huge catalog.  2/3rds of their store is dirt bike accessories.  If you go in there on a friday or saturday, the line at the parts counter is huuuge.

I'm not shocked by this tale of mail-order mess ups.  Besides the lady that woks in the street leathers area, everyone else I've talked to in there have been morons.  Double that for the guys on the sales floor.

Ok, no, there wasn't really a point to this post.

I have had the same prob with them for years.  I just can't buy anything there anymore.  I usually get stuff from denniskirk, brockton cycle, and MAW.  It will have to be a steal before I attempt to buy anything from chapparal, but I am usually willing to pay more to make sure I get what I want the first time.  There is no customer service at chapparal!
