23 year old man attempts wheelie. "Mr. Squid, meet Mr. Wall."
Sad. Just sad.
Very sad and very squidly. Why don't people just learn. . .
That goes for american editors too - they suck, why don't they learn to write properly.
HELL why doesn't everyone learn!
I read your post after I read the article, I agree that it was very poorly written.
I kinda have no simpathy for the guy. I guess that makes me a bad person.
Umm, generally don't you point ..... *AWAY* ..... from solid objects when you decide to wheelie/ launch, move forward at all?
:dunno_white:
Yeah poorly written too.
I feel sorry for him, because no one deserves to die, but I feel even more sorry for his family and friends. If I lost my buddy (been friends since age 3) I'd be a wreck.
I also feel sorry for all the kids who knew him and probably looked up to him (kids do that sort of thing) they'll be *sure* that motorcycles kill anyone who rides them.
This happened just around the corner from my house and is a very unfortunate event. I dont know if this was his first wheelie as the subject states but I do know that my son seemed pretty bothered by it.
He wasn't there when it happened but met up with some of his buddies later that evening and heard about it. He didn't know the guy either but one of his friends was there when it happened and told him about it. It took at least a good 12-24 hours before he discussed it with us (thats how much it bothered him). Now you have to realize the my son has been in two motorcycle accidents in which at least one of them if not both should have killed him. He laid down his bike at 110 (what was he doing 110 for?, thats another story), into a sidewalk and was air lifted to the hospital. He spent about six hours there and came home with road rash on is lower body, that all! Oh, they thought he sprained his pinky finger too. His gear protected the upper half. These two accidents have changed him. When a fellow rider dies, I think he wonders why he was spared? I know he gets pretty quite for a couple of days after hearing about a crash, especially a local one.
Anyway, we need to be praying for this guys family & his friends.
