anyone know what will years are the same?
thanks ya'all
'01 and '02 are identical. I would imagine that the frame on an '04-'06 are the same, as well. ('03 wasn't marketed in the US.)
The frame on the '89-'00 models is quite close to the '01, but I think there are some small differences because of the different seat mount, seat lock, mounting points for the plastic parts, etc.
besides scratches...... what is wrong with the frame
I crashed at 100... and scratched my frame.....
I6
would a 94' and a 01' interchange? :dunno_white: ....anyone, anyone?
You can compare yourself by checking various
Parts Fiche links (http://www.bbburma.net/Documents/GS500_Parts_Fiche_1.html):
1994 Frame (http://images.powersportsnetwork.com/fiche/images/Suzuki/1989/Motorcycles/2103_29.gif)2001 Frame (http://images.powersportsnetwork.com/fiche/images/Suzuki/2001/Motorcycles/2102_30.gif)[/list]
It might help to print them out and mark them up. From a quick examination, the forward half seems identical, but the rear half has some differences.
i would go with the 04-06 that way you can go eahter way with it, fairings or naked.
all mountings should be the same for engine, rear, forks ect... hell nothig but the carbs and farings have really changed over the years
if its only scratched then why dont you just paint it
or you know.
your neighbor wrecked it, your bought it.

well, according to your story, your neighbor wrecked it while checking out the bike... you neighbor should of paid you for the bike, or the damage.
