Title: "Unfilled Holes"
Post by: LMT on June 24, 2006, 06:33:25 PM
Have an 05 GS500F.  Does anyone know what may have fitted into the vertical part on both handle bars near the choke and brake reservoir?  They are "empty" and have threads in them.

Ah!  Now, I know what he's talking about!  Thanks, Kerry!  Yes, those are for mirrors on the previous GS models that did not have the fairing.

I was wondering that too, but when I took the rubber "caps" off, I figured they were for the older style mirrors

Don't you just have to unbutton the shirt, unzip the pants, and slip out of said items of clothing?!?!?

You had rubber caps in the empty threaded holes? My "F" model came without any caps at all (purchased new).
